My Vision
Welcome to my Sketchbook...
As I build my portfolio, I would like to invite you into my thoughts of what I would like to create for you. You can go back to my gallery to see paintings I have done. I love the intimacy of closer up compositions where your faces are larger and more of the focal point of the painting. I also love the painting to tell a story or show your emotion.

The gentle halo glow around the couple in this picture is beautiful.
Classic focal points of the wedding day are beautiful compositions but here are some more thoughtful and romantic ideas to think about.
There is so much beauty in both natural and manmade backdrops both visually and symbolically. It depends what you like as a couple. Perhaps you are outdoorsy, interested in history, or city dwellers.
These have a wider composition. I think the balance is beautiful. They have deep romance like it is just you two in all the world.

The close up compositions shows all the emotions of your faces so well. You can feel the intensity between them. Just having you so close up in the painting only leaves room to show the love between you.

I love the softness and the glow in this one. I believe it has a feel of contemplative nostalgia.
I love the wind affecting their hair. I love the movement because it has so much energy. It reflects the excitement and buzz you feel.

This one uses beautiful framing with the flowers. They have many points of contact between them, making them appear more in love in the picture.

I think this composition is very sweet in a different way to some of the others, as you can't see their faces. I think it is extremely romantic because it is like the couple is looking out into their future together, which is very appropriate for a wedding.
I like the playfulness and motion in this painting. The couple are dancing joyfully and there is a beautiful background.
